How It Works
Choose the file
Choose one MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI or MKV file from your device, up to 500 MB. Wait for it to load before you start processing.
Start with a video that has sound. Extraction needs a decodable audio track; it won’t add narration to a silent recording.
Set the bitrate
In Options, set Quality to 128, 192, 256 or 320. These values are kilobits per second (kbps); the default is 192.
Choose a lower bitrate when file size matters more, or a higher one when you can allow a larger file. A higher number won’t recover detail missing from your recording. Listen to the MP3 before you decide which version to keep.
This tool produces MP3. Use Quality under Options for the conversion and leave the separate Output Settings controls at their defaults.
Save the MP3
Click Process Video to MP3. Listen for the part you wanted to extract, then open the saved MP3 in the player you plan to use. The tool attempts an automatic download shortly after processing; use Download if you need to save it manually.
If local processing can’t finish, try a smaller file or review the cloud option and its credit charge before continuing.
Questions about Video to MP3
No. Choose a video file from your device; this tool has no video-URL input.
No. Audio extraction converts the video's soundtrack; it does not separate sounds that are mixed together. If speech and music overlap in the source, they will usually remain together in the extracted audio.
