How It Works
How to use AI Document Summarizer
1. Paste the source text
Paste the text into Source. The request limit is 50,000 characters. For a longer document, work through coherent sections and keep the original available to check the summaries.
2. Choose length and format
Select Brief (1-2 Paragraphs), Medium (Key Points) or Detailed (Comprehensive) in Summary Length. Format offers Plain Text, Bullet Points and Executive Summary.
3. Create the summary
Click Process to create the summary. For meeting notes, pay particular attention to the difference between a suggestion and an agreed decision.
4. Check details before saving
Compare names, dates, amounts and qualifications with the source. If an important point is missing, return to the original before deciding what to include. Use Copy or Download to keep the result.

Limits to know
Paste text rather than upload a document
This workspace takes text. Extract text from a PDF first, then check the extracted wording and reading order before summarizing it.
A summary cannot replace its source
Shortening text can remove context or qualifications. Use the original to verify any statement you plan to quote or use for a decision.
Common questions
No. Paste its text into Source. If needed, use PDF to Text first and review the extracted text.
Yes. Check the transcript against the recording first, then paste it here. Review any decisions, names and action items against the source.
A summary condenses a document to its main points. A paraphrase restates a passage while keeping much of its detail. Use the summarizer for a shorter overview, and check the original whenever an exact quotation, number, or exception matters.
