How It Works
Write a passage you can check by ear
Paste up to 4,000 characters into Text to Speak. Start with a paragraph that includes the names or numbers your listener needs to understand.
For example, try the opening of your presentation before generating every section. Listen for a mispronounced name or a pause that changes the meaning.
Choose the voice and pace
Pick Sofia, Emma, Grace, James, Alex, or Narrator. Use Language for your script and Speed to set a pace between 0.5× and 2.0×.
If you open Advanced Studio, you can choose an Engine tier. Review the displayed credit cost before starting; changing a tier can change the cost.
Generate, listen, and save
Click Generate voice, then play the result. If the pacing feels wrong, adjust Speed or revise the sentence and generate again.
Click Download to save the WAV file. Keep your written script alongside it so you can revise a line later.
Common questions
This tool starts from six preset voices. Use AI Voice Cloner when you want to supply a reference recording.
Listen to a short sample containing the difficult words before generating a long passage. Try spelling an abbreviation out or writing a name phonetically where appropriate. Keep a separate copy of the original script if the spoken spelling differs from the written version.
