Need to clean up an interview or work on a music recording? Choose the matching Audio Type, process the file, and save the result as WAV.
How It Works
Choose the audio type
Use Speech / Voice for an interview, voice note or other spoken recording. Choose Music for a music track; do not assume speech cleanup settings suit instruments.
| Your recording | Where to start |
|---|---|
| Speech with background noise | Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice and Mode to Remove Noise. |
| Speech that needs clearer delivery | Set Audio Type to Speech / Voice and try Enhance Clarity under Mode. |
| A music track | Choose Music under Audio Type. Keep the original for comparison. |
How to enhance your audio
1. Add the recording
Upload one MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A or AAC file up to 100 MB. Choose the audio type and mode before starting. For example, an interview with a steady fan in the room is a reason to begin with speech noise removal.
2. Process with the chosen settings
Click Process. The advanced controls include Noise Reduction Strength and Processing Mode. Start with the default settings; change a setting only when you have a specific problem to address.
3. Listen before keeping the result
Listen through quiet words, pauses and overlapping voices, comparing those passages with the original at a similar volume. For music, pay attention to the instruments and their balance. Download the WAV result once you have decided what to keep.
What enhancement cannot establish
A louder or smoother result is not necessarily a more faithful recording. If words disappear or a voice sounds unnatural, keep the original and reconsider the settings before running it again. Review the credit charge for another run.
Common questions
No. This workspace accepts audio files. Extract the audio from your video first.
No. The download is a WAV file, even if you upload an MP3.
Compare the result with your original recording, especially quiet words and breaths. Strong cleanup can remove speech detail along with noise. Keep the original and use the version that is easier to understand; enhancement cannot reliably recover speech that was never captured clearly.
