How It Works
How to colorize your photo
1. Upload one image
Choose a JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 25 MB. If you are starting with a physical print, scan or photograph it first. Keep the uncolored version alongside the result.
2. Choose the colorization setting
Under AI Model, choose Fast or High Quality, then click Colorize. The advanced controls include Color Intensity. If the first result looks too strongly colored for your purpose, adjust that control before another run.
3. Review the colors and download
Look at skin, clothing and any objects whose colors matter to you. For example, compare a coat with a family member’s recollection before adding the picture to an album. Use Download to save the PNG copy.
Color is an interpretation
A black-and-white photo does not establish the original hue of every surface. Treat generated colors as an interpretation unless you have a separate reference. Keep that distinction clear when sharing a historical image.
Common questions

No. The download is a PNG file.
No. The generated colors are an interpretation, not evidence of the original scene. Use reference photographs or records when a particular color matters, and keep the uncolored scan alongside the result for archival use.
