How It Works
Match the output to where your video is going
Open one MP4, WebM, MKV, AVI, MOV, M4V, FLV, WMV or 3GP file, up to 100 MB. These are accepted extensions; codec support and your device can still limit preview or processing.
In Output, choose MP4 for an MP4 file with H.264 video and AAC audio, or Web Video for WebM with VP9 video and Opus audio. Check which format your destination accepts before choosing.
The Quality slider starts at 23 and ranges from 18 to 35. Move toward Higher Quality or Smaller File according to what you need; the result size is not guaranteed.
Leave Resolution at Original to keep the source dimensions, or choose 4K (2160p), 1440p (2K), 1080p (Full HD), 720p (HD) or 480p (SD). A numbered setting chooses the output height and adjusts width proportionally. A larger setting does not restore missing detail.
Process and check the converted file
Click Process Video Converter. When the result is ready, play it, check the sound, and use Download. Try the saved copy in the app or site you are converting it for.
Conversion re-encodes your video. Keep the original so you can make another version without starting from an already converted copy.
A Web Video result contains WebM video, but its download name may still end in .mp4. Check the actual format before you hand off the file; the filename alone is not reliable.
Questions about video conversion
This workspace accepts one video at a time, up to 100 MB. Finish or replace the current clip before converting another.
No. Original is the Resolution choice: it avoids requesting a resize. The converter still encodes the video in your selected output format.
A smaller file is not guaranteed. Output size depends on your clip, format, resolution and quality setting. Check the result before replacing any copy you already use.
No. Eligible on-device tasks may offer a conditional guest trial or an account allowance. Cloud processing uploads the file and requires sign-in and credits. Check the current mode and charge before starting.
No. Renaming changes the filename, not the video and audio encoding inside it. Use the converter to create an actual MP4 output, then check playback and sound in the app where you plan to use it.
MP4 is a container, and its video and audio can use different codecs or settings. A player may support one combination and reject another. Check the exported file in the destination player rather than relying on the .mp4 extension alone.
