How It Works
Choose the rotation
Find Rotation under Transform. Choose 90° to turn the picture clockwise or 270° to turn it counter-clockwise. If the recording is upside down, choose 180°.
Use a person or an upright object in the preview to judge the direction. If the picture needs mirroring instead of turning, Flip is a separate control.
Save the rotated copy
Upload one MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, or MKV file, up to 500 MB. The file limit is separate from the size your device can process locally.
Choose the turn you need and leave Output on MP4. Click Process Rotate Video. When the result is ready, use Download if the automatic download hasn’t already started.
Open the saved copy in the app where you’ll use it. Is the picture upright, is the whole frame visible, and does the audio play? Keep the original recording until you’re happy with the result.
Know what the starting display means
Do not use the initial 0° display as a way to save an unchanged copy: processing can still apply a 90° turn. Choose 90°, 180°, or 270° explicitly for the correction you need.
If local processing cannot finish, try a smaller file or select Online processing and review the price before proceeding.
Questions about rotating video
No. The Rotation controls offer fixed quarter-turn and half-turn settings; there is no custom-angle field in this workspace.
Rotation re-encodes the picture, so quality can change. Check the saved copy before you send it.
Rotation turns the entire picture, so people and text may become sideways. If the content is already upright, use a vertical crop or padded resize instead. Use rotation to correct orientation, not simply to reach a different frame shape.
