Scan receipts to PDF
Keep your receipt photos together in a PDF, or save PNG or JPEG images. Capture a receipt with your camera or import photos you already have.

Use this scanner when you need copies of your receipts. Each photo becomes a separate PDF page; merchant names, dates and totals stay in the image rather than becoming expense records.
How It Works
Start with a readable receipt photo
Use Open Camera on mobile or Use Webcam on desktop and allow camera access. Keep the full receipt in view. AUTO captures after detecting a stable page; MANUAL lets you use the shutter yourself. A capture takes you to Review.
Choose Upload images if the photos are already on your device. The scanner accepts image files your browser can decode, not PDF receipts. If camera access is unavailable, import a photo instead.
Before importing a long receipt, zoom in on the original photo and check the smallest amounts. If you photograph it in sections, those sections will stay on separate pages; the scanner won’t stitch them together.
Keep the details and order you need
Magic is the starting enhancement. Color is the other choice. Check the exported totals, dates and item lines against the original; enhancement cannot be relied on to restore printing that is no longer readable.
Bring in the rest with + Add More. Remove duplicates, then drag the multi-page thumbnails into the order you want—for example, by date for a travel receipt set.
Imported thumbnails show the original photos before final processing. There is no manual corner adjustment in Review. If the exported crop cuts off a total or a receipt edge, try a better-framed source photo.
Choose one PDF or image files
| Your next step | Export choice |
|---|---|
| Send receipts together | PDF: one file, with each processed photo on a separate page. |
| Attach one receipt as an image | PNG or JPEG: one image file for one photo. |
| Keep several image files | PNG or JPEG: a ZIP archive for multiple photos. |
Leave PDF selected and choose Create PDF, or select PNG or JPEG and use its Export button. Download the result, count the receipts and save it before closing the tab.
Questions about receipt scans
No. The output contains receipt images. It does not calculate totals, categorize expenses, or export receipt data to a spreadsheet. Enter or extract those details separately if you need them for bookkeeping.
Not reliably. Try Magic and inspect the saved image, but keep the original and do not assume enhancement can recover missing characters.
You can prepare a scan before signing in. Downloading requires an account; applicable credit access is checked separately.
