How It Works
Choose pages to remove
Choose one PDF, up to 100 MB. Open Preview to find the pages you want to leave out, and check the page count shown after the file loads.
Type the unwanted page numbers into Pages to Remove. Separate individual numbers with commas and use a hyphen for a range: 2, 5-8 removes page 2 and pages 5 through 8.
Count from the first page of the PDF, starting at 1. A printed “page 1” may appear later in the file if there’s a cover or an introduction.
Keep every number between 1 and the total page count. An out-of-range number can be treated as the first or last page instead of producing an error. At least one page must remain.
Save the remaining pages
Click Remove Pages to create a PDF containing the pages you kept, in their original order.
Save the result with Download. If Auto-download is on, the tool attempts the download shortly after processing. Open that saved copy and check the pages around each removal so you don’t send a document with a missing section.
Keep your original. If you removed the wrong pages, choose it again and correct Pages to Remove.
Questions about removing PDF pages
No. Removing a page changes the page sequence, but this tool does not rewrite numbers printed on the remaining pages.
Not while it is protected. The tool asks you to unlock the PDF first. Use an unlocked copy you are authorized to edit.
No. Removing pages does not rewrite references such as 'see page 12' in the remaining content. Review the table of contents, page numbering, and references after deletion. Update those separately if the document needs to remain internally consistent.
