How It Works
Choose the PDF
Choose up to 10 PDFs, each up to 50 MB. Start with a file whose table text you can select; that gives the converter text to work with.
If your table is only a scanned image, use a separate optical character recognition (OCR) step to make its text readable first. There is no OCR option in this tool.
Convert and check the workbook
Click Convert. Download each XLSX result, or use Download All for several results. If Auto-download is enabled, the tool attempts to save the results shortly after processing.
Keep the PDF open beside your workbook. Check the headers, the first and last rows, and any amounts or dates you plan to use. A misplaced value can still look plausible in a spreadsheet.
Before you total a column, check that its values behave as numbers. Add the formulas you need rather than assuming the conversion has rebuilt the original spreadsheet logic.
Questions about PDF to Excel
Text may still appear in cells, but a workbook may not be useful for a prose document. Use PDF to Word if you want to edit paragraphs instead.
Check row alignment, decimal separators, dates, negative values, and totals against the PDF. A cell that looks numeric may be stored as text. Validate important figures before using the workbook in calculations or reports.
