How It Works
Convert the image
Open one PNG, up to 100 MB. If you choose online processing, use a file no larger than its 95 MB limit.
Start with the current Quality setting and click Convert. Save the result with Download, or let Auto-download save it when that option is on.
Before replacing the PNG
Need every pixel to stay unchanged? Keep the PNG. The Lossless checkbox currently does not change how this tool converts the file, so it is not a reliable way to request a pixel-exact copy.
Check the downloaded image’s width and height if your layout needs exact dimensions. Large images can be reduced during conversion, even though you did not ask to resize them.
Look closely at small text and sharp edges, and try transparent areas against the background where the image will appear. Compare the file size with your PNG too; a different format does not guarantee a smaller file.
PNG conversion questions
No. This tool accepts one PNG at a time. Convert Image accepts batches and offers WebP as an output format.
Lossy compression can soften edges or introduce artifacts around high-contrast details. Compare small text and logos at their intended display size. Keep the original PNG if the converted copy loses detail you need.
