Sign-in and credits may be required. Where offered, On device processing has a limited guest trial; availability depends on your file and device. Check the access panel before processing.
Have a WebM recording and a destination that asks for MP4? Convert the recording here, then try the result in that destination before sending it to someone else.
How It Works
Choose files that fit
Choose one WebM file up to 500 MB. Work through recordings one at a time; a file that fits the upload limit may still need more processing capacity than your device has.
Convert and save your recording
Open the tool and select your input. Leave the shared editor controls at their defaults for this workflow.
When your files are ready, complete any access prompt and select Process WebM to MP4. Use the result’s download control to save your MP4.
What to check in the MP4
Expect a re-encoded video, not an exact copy of the original picture data. Compare small text, movement and sound with your WebM. The MP4 may be larger or smaller than the source.
Play the saved file through the beginning and end. Check its appearance and duration before sending it onward. If processing fails, check the displayed message and try a smaller source file.
WebM to MP4 questions
The current workspace accepts one file at a time. Finish and save one conversion before starting another.
Passing the upload check is only the first step. Your device may not have enough processing capacity, or the file may contain media the converter cannot read. Follow the displayed message. Online processing may require sign-in and credits.
Do not assume it will. The converter's standard MP4 encoding does not provide the same transparency support as an alpha-enabled WebM. Inspect the background in the output and keep the source if transparency is essential to your editing workflow.
