Choose a resolution increase that fits your source and the size you need. A larger export is still worth checking against the original, especially around faces, text, and fine textures.
How It Works
Check the clip before uploading
Upload one MP4, WebM, MKV, AVI, or MOV file up to 25 MB. The limits are 60 seconds, 900 frames, and 60 fps. Input dimensions must be even, and both input and requested output must stay within the 4K pixel limit of 3,840 × 2,160.
The 900-frame limit can be reached before 60 seconds: at 30 fps, it covers 30 seconds; at 60 fps, it covers 15 seconds. Trim your clip to meet every limit.
Choose the size you need
Under Resolution Boost, choose 2× (Double) or 4× (Quadruple). The scale applies to both width and height: a 960 × 540 clip becomes 1,920 × 1,080 at 2×, or 3,840 × 2,160 at 4×.
Enable Reduce Noise (optional) if you want noise reduction included. Review the displayed credit charge, then select Process.
Download the MP4 when processing finishes. Compare it with the source at the size you plan to use; check moving edges and small lettering as well as a still frame.
When 4× is too large
A 1,920 × 1,080 input fits the output limit at 2×. At 4× it would exceed the limit and is rejected. Choose a smaller scale or start with smaller input dimensions.
Questions about Video Enhancer
Do not assume that a larger image reproduces details the original recording never captured. Review the result before using it, particularly where small text or faces matter.
A larger frame does not necessarily contain more reliable detail. Inspect a short section at the size you plan to use, looking for artificial texture and sharpening halos. Keep the original and choose the version that looks clearer in normal playback.
